Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool, District Health Officer Islamabad, represented Pakistan at the Regional Workshop on Strengthening Hypertension Control in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR) held in Cairo, Egypt.
A Memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the District Health Office and Al kauthar international hospital under the Public–Private Partnership framework. The MoU signing meeting was chaired by Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool, District Health Officer Islamabad, reaffirming the commitment to safeguarding child health through enhanced access to life-saving vaccines.

District Health Office Islamabad, in collaboration with UNICEF Pakistan, conducted an Adolescent Boot Camp activity targeting out-of-school girls aged 10–19 years. This Boot Camp provided practical knowledge on nutrition, health, and hygiene through skill-based learning, reinforcing DHO Islamabad’s commitment to strengthening adolescent health and nutrition initiatives.
