Federal Minister for Health, Syed Mustafa Kamal, inaugurated the National Dengue Prevention Drive 2025 at F-9 Park, Islamabad. On the occasion, he said that integrated, swift, and continuous measures are essential to control dengue.Under this special campaign, dengue prevention activities have been expanded and intensified, including fogging, larva surveillance, hotspot visits, community awareness, and cleanliness measures, all being carried out with greater vigor. The District Health Office Islamabad and MCI field teams are active daily across the city to effectively curb the spread of dengue.District Health Officer Islamabad, Dr. Syeda Rashida Batool, said: “Prevention of dengue is a shared responsibility. The public should adopt precautionary measures and cooperate with the health department to help control dengue.”
